Our popular Suspension Upgrade Package B is now available for the Promaster van and cab chassis and fits the 2014 to 2025 1500, 2500, and 3500. It is one of the most popular combinations we had put together for the Sprinter van with many sold over the years and great customer feedback.  Not for Promaster vans with rear coil springs. 

The Suspension Upgrade Package B for Promaster vans includes front and rear progressive SumoSprings made from micro-cellular urethane, rear upgraded 1 1/8 inch rear sway bar and Koni FSD rear shocks.

The Suspension Upgrade Package B is a variation of the popular Suspension Package A we have been using on the MB vans for many years. Package A is also available for Promaster, but does not include the 118" wb at this time.  

The Suspension Package B includes front SumoSprings instead of front Koni struts. We have found that if you are the owner of a new van or RV with low miles, you may be hesitant to replace the front struts based on their cost. Also at this time the 118" wheel base is limited for aftermarket front struts. By deleting the front struts from the Package A and adding the front SumoSprings instead, you will have a great performing package at reduced cost and labor, saving you up to $1000.

The Suspension Upgrade Package B includes all top brand names in suspension performance. All three major areas of your Promaster suspension are addressed, creating a great balanced package. Also, every item in this suspension package is direct fit with minimal labor involved and no drilling or other major modifications. 

The rear Sumo Springs are the medium density material. SumoSprings are a micro cellular urethane product designed to help reduce sag and stabilize sway. They are a progressive spring with a very soft initial engagement. That means that as more weight is added, the harder they get and more they push back, providing support and control when you need it without affecting the factory ride when unloaded.  

The rear Koni FSD is a frequency selective damper that will automatically adjust according to road conditions, without electronics.

The sway bar is made by Helllwig and is a unique system that has 3 different adjustments from soft to firm depending on your driving habits and situation. Hellwig has a long history in suspension upgrades and suspension performance.

This suspension upgrade really addresses a wide range of improvements. Whether you have a Hymer, custom RV, work van, or your Promaster van is a weekend adventurer, we have you covered.
